ABOUT US
OUR VISION AND MISSION

BÙI NGÂN HÀ NHI
FOUNDER
With the desire to ensure that all girls have equal and fair access to quality living standards and development opportunities, while also creating a community where female students can find support and companionship in every aspect - working together to bring about positive change in society through major projects, to have their voices heard, and above all, to have a platform from which to pursue their dreams and ambitious goals in life - I decided to establish the Vietnamese Female Students Association in November 2021.
We hope that through the organization's activities and the articles we write ourselves, you will gain insight into the minds of us young girls with ambitions and dreams of changing the world. We aspire to contribute, even in small ways, to the development of society and to have our voices heard!

OUR VISION
Become a socially impactful organization that represents the voices of thousands of female students across the country.
Have a nationwide network of members while also connecting and forming communities in other countries - creating opportunities for learning, international development, and empowering Vietnamese female students to reach out to the world.
Become a community where every female student - regardless of who they are or where they come from - can learn, live safely, have a voice in society, and find mutual support and solidarity among peers.
Establish a professional 24/7 support center network dedicated to female students who have experienced physical or emotional trauma - including unintended pregnancy, sexual harassment, violence, and social isolation - as well as challenges related to academic pressure, relationships, and mental health.
Establish a charitable fund with the purpose of building shelters for girls who are victims of violence, homeless, or facing unintended pregnancies, as well as for children born from such circumstances; constructing libraries and contributing to the building of schools in mountainous areas; creating scholarship funds for underprivileged girls; supporting women in entrepreneurship and job creation; and maintaining regular charitable activities to support organizations that share the same vision and mission.
OUR MISSION
NO GIRL LEFT BEHIND
As the first female-focused organization in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Female Students Association (VFSA) carries the responsibility of representing the rights and voices of thousands of female students nationwide. It serves as a reflection of the young generation of Vietnam - especially its young women - while also acting as a source of support and a community dedicated to one mission: no girl is left behind.
In the Vietnamese Female Students Association community, every girl is treated equally and welcomed with open arms. In particular, Vietnamese Female College Students Association upholds the following missions:
– Responsible for operating all support centers under the Vietnamese Female Students Association, including the support center for female students with unintended pregnancies, the assistance center for issues related to harassment, violence, and social isolation, as well as the organization’s official Facebook fanpage Vietnamese Female College Students Association – Mạng lưới Nữ sinh Đại học providing 24/7 support for female students.
– Operating a volunteer-based education and scholarship support program for underprivileged primary and lower secondary school girls.
– Conducting research papers and articles on feminism and promoting development opportunities for women.
– Sharing educational opportunities (competitions, scholarships, etc.) to encourage learning among young women.
– Operating a cross-national mentorship system to support female students. Collaborating with international organizations to provide learning and development opportunities, empowering Vietnamese female students to reach out to the world.
– Organizing seminars with international student organizations to provide learning and networking opportunities for young women.
– Establishing a scholarship fund for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, a merit-based scholarship fund for promising female students, and investing in teaching activities and library construction with the long-term goal of eradicating illiteracy among girls in remote areas. Additionally, creating a support fund for women entrepreneurs and generating employment opportunities for women.
– Establishing a long-term charitable fund aimed at building shelters for girls who are victims of violence, homeless, or facing unintended pregnancies, as well as for children born from such circumstances; a fund dedicated to the organization’s ongoing charitable activities and to contributing to other entities that share the same vision and mission.
– Supporting, connecting, and protecting female students - especially those in vulnerable circumstances - through education, awareness-raising, and policy advocacy.

WHEN WE ARE HERE, WE ARE SISTERS. OUR ASSOCIATION IS ABOUT ALL THE GIRLS!
